Observing the Maastricht Debate

We know surprisingly little what effect the debates among leading candidates have on voters and especially on young or first time voters. Therefore researchers at Maastricht University have designed two surveys to assess how people view this process.

We want to invite you to take the pre-debate survey before April 29th (18.00 o’clock CET)

To take the survey please visit the following link:

Also, we want to invite you to take the post-debate survey after April 29th ( after 20.30 o’clock CET) until May 8th.

Live Viewing Party

Missed your chance to register for the Maastricht Debate at Theater aan het Vrijthof? Don’t despair – Studio Europa has got you covered. We are livestreaming the entire debate on a giant screen at the Vrijthof Square.

What to expect?

Come and join our Live Viewing Party with food trucks, cosy seating, live music, a pop-up photobooth and our What’s Up Europe? info-market. It’s open to all and here you’ll get the chance to meet some of the diverse organisations who are working on your future Europe. Come strike up a conversation!

After the main event we’ve got some sharp analysis lined up by the next generation on our panel stage – and of course we want to know what you thought of the big showdown! Once we’ve all digested the debate, we’ll hand the floor to our DJs and kick-off the party.

Oh, and did we mention the silent disco?
